Guys, (and gals who like it), are you ready for another year of fishing ?
I don't fish in the winter. I'm actually a bass, pike, musky and trout man. Fishing lakes and rivers are my favorite. What are yours.

I am big on perch, not a big excitement catch, but so tasty! My hubby goes for pike, so I do too, just because we fish together. Sadly, someone stole our fishing boat though
, so we aren’t as ready as we’d like to be for lake fishing – stuck on the river this year.- we never even got to use it!
Snow’s not even gone yet, but we’ve already set a date for our first trip, next weekend, lol!

Oh yeah, water’s warming up in the Indian River Lagoon, first redfish tourney’s over, I’m ready to go out in the kayak once this accursed wind lays down and see if I can sneak myself up on any reds or seatrout or anything for that matter… I’m sure it’s great being able to get fish every time you go out, but isn’t it really about enjoying the day? So what if all I have at the end of the day is the ability to say I caught another dang puffer or catfish, or a 5 – 9 inch trout…. oh, I’ve been slaying the little trout lately…. *mutter* Free dinner is just an added bonus, after all.

Mainly saltwater. Calico (kelp) bass, halibut, white seabass, yellowtail, albacore, tuna. Catching’s better in the summer, but in Southern California you can make a day of it just about any time of the year. But put me at a lake or a stream and I’ll fish for trout, bass, or whatever.

Of coarse I’m ready. I live where the winter makes it to tough to fish so I’m with you on that. Cabin fever usually sets in late January. Largemouth Bass only. I fish lakes mostly. Good luck this year.

I’m in Washington State on the Olympic Peninsula, and darn right I’m ready for this year! I just started fishing last fall and I am hooked…sorry had to make that one. Caught a couple good size Steelhead and a few silvers my first time banking it opening week. Fishing is definitely my new passion, I just gotta find the spots. Anyways, the rivers were all blown out the past few weeks, and now they are closing next month so I’m trying to concentrate on other things. Hopefully I can fill up my catch card this year!
FISH OOOON!!!

Hell yeah I am ready for another year of fishing I start twitching this time of year, at this point I will take anything but my favorite thing to catch is striped bass on a friends boat. We catch these 25-35 pound keepers so much we have to start throwing them back. Also I like throwing a plug into a middle a school of bluefish when the water is ‘boiling’ with them. I like catching fluke too because they are good eating.
